A couple of things I noticed right off the bat. First, there seems to be a noticable delay between the hitbox appearing for a swing and the actual swing animation. Sometimes I noticed enemies taking damage before my character had even pulled out my sword, and other times my sword seemed to pass right through them. Another thing I noticed was that, on sloped surfaces, the character can seemingly get stuck in the air, which prevents the player from jumping until they reach a flat enough surface. Overall though, the game is full of flavor. The sprite work is wonderful, the animations and screen transitions feel nice to the player, and the aesthetics of the background is great.
